Model Ylfa Geirsdóttir has been around for a long time, but she has now joined LazyTown. Ylfa has worked as a model since her teenage years, both here and abroad, but last year she graduated from the Iceland Academy of the Arts with a degree in product design.
LazyTown is looking to expand in various areas, so it is not out of the question that a product designer should join the staff. The company seems to be doing well, but it was recently announced that Ástríður Viðarsdóttir, a former employee of Kastljós, had joined LazyTown’s staff.
Ylfa’s final project from the Academy of the Arts was about reuse and sustainability in design. Perhaps it is to be expected that such parts will dominate the future design at LazyTown.
