Still about Latibær
Master of Scholarship Magnús Scheving has written a sequel to his popular story, Áfram Latibær, and the new book is called Latibær at the Olympics. Latibær has now been given the name Sðlskinsbær, and the story goes that when its inhabitants are offered to send competitors to the Olympics for young people if they reach the required minimum in each sport. When everything is about to fail, the sports elf reappears and the results are impressive.
This is a more ordinary story book than the previous book, although the author deviates from various things that children should think about. Illustrations are by Halldór Baldursson. At the moment, a musical is being shown in Loftkastalinn Theatre, which is based on the previous book, and the author himself plays the sports elf with great empathy and well-known dexterity.
