“We have been in contact with many foreign parties. I hope that Latibær can become as big a brand in this country as Tinni in Belgium” says Magnús Scheving, a fitness entrepreneur who and the parties behind Latibær have been in negotiations with many large companies abroad.
Magnús says that if that happens, Latibær can go all over the world, but that requires a lot of work. “We have been redefining Latibær because the main criticism of the first play was that it was too propaganda. There may be something to it because the demand for non-violent children’s material is high and growing”
When asked about collaborating with big companies such as Disney, Fox and others, Magnús says:
“That process takes two years. 120 people have done something in connection with Latibær recently. We are preparing a demo that will be shown to foreign companies this autumn and after that the process will be in full swing.”
