Latibær’s representatives receive a 12% refund from the state treasury for all costs incurred in the production of 40 episodes of Latibær in Iceland.
According to the newsletter of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the estimated cost of producing 40 episodes is estimated to be between 1,100 and 1,200 million ISK and about 100 people will be involved in the production. According to laws under the Ministry, a 12% reimbursement of the costs incurred for production in Iceland is obtained.
